Murmansk Oblast

The repair fund for Murmansk Oblast in 2010 is 427 mln rubles.

As part of the preparation for the heating season, a boiler was overhauled at Apatitskaya CHP. Almost 500 m of main heating systems were replaced in summer. Capital repairs were done on 170 m of railroad tracks: rails were replaced and laid on crushed stone ballast to avoid possible sagging.

Water outlets were repaired at Kumskaya and Iovskaya hydro power plants of the Niva Cascade in Murmansk Oblast. Metal structures were inspected and treated to prevent corrosion; sealing elements were replaced at gates used for the passage of water through the dam and level control in storage reservoirs. Financing of the work amounted to almost 5 mln rubles.

Four capital repairs and three intermediate repairs of boilers were carried out at Murmanskaya CHP, in addition to turbine generator repair.

Several large sections of the heat network were reconstructed in Murmansk: in total, almost 300 m of pipes were fully replaced.

Another large-scale project is the reconstruction of the heat network on Lenina Prospect in Murmansk. The work made it possible to connect one new residential building and other facilities to the networks because of larger pipes with a total length exceeding 500 meters laid there.

The total amount of investments of Murmanskaya CHP in the Repair Program in 2010 will reach 190 mln rubles.
