Equipment repairs were completed on Vasileostrovskaya and Avtovskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1

As part of the repair program of JSC TGC-1 and preparation of power plants for the heating season of 2012-2013, repair works of main and supporting equipment on JSC TGC-1 Vasileostrovskaya and Avtovskaya CHPPs were completed.

Plant and contract specialists are finishing a complete overhaul of steam boiler No 7 on Vasileostrovskaya CHP Plant. The unit passed complete diagnostics In the course of the work. Heating surfaces were replaced, testing and adjustment of automatic regulation was done, control and management devices of equipment modes were carried out.

A complete overhaul of turbine No1 was completed on Avtovskaya CHP Plant. Repair works and modernization of the flow parts of the cylinders of medium and low pressure are continuing on turbine unit No 7. As a result, the capacity of the turbine unit will increase by 23 MW. 

Starting from 2010, summer preparation of TGC-1 power plants of St. Petersburg for the heating season excludes interruptions of the hot water supply to the consumers.
