The specialists of TGC-1 completed the rebuilding of equipment at Ondskaya HPP

The autoformer at Ondskaya HPP is finally rebuilt. It is the head station of Vygsky cascade of HPPs, which provides flow control and defines the parameters of all power generated by all cascade’s plants.

The main purpose of capital repairs is to improve reliability of power supply network, connecting the Kola Peninsula to St. Petersburg.

During the repair regulated and overnormal work was performed. The specialists of the company with the contractors installed up-to-date and technologically advanced equipment. The worn out bushings 220 kV were replaced with modern counterparts.

It will be recalled that bushings 330 kV have been renovated in the previous years. Re-equipment provides more reliable functioning of plant equipment that can improve electricity supply.
