The representatives of the Consulate General of Finland visited TGC-1’s Yuzhnaya CHP

March11, 2013 Yuzhnaya CHP was visited by the representatives of the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg. Station director Andrey Sergeyev made for them a round trip. The guests examined some equipment in the engine room, inspected the new energy unit, launched in 2011, visited the control room, from which specialists can conduct modern energy system.

Guests also visited the old building, where the steam-power unit is situated. They had a unique opportunity to compare technologies and work principles of two different types of power equipment. Steam power unit is operated manually. However, this year the program of the reconstruction of Yuzhnaya CHP will start. It is planned to automate all processes.

After the excursion Head of Investment department Roman Kozlov made a presentation on key investment projects of TGC-1: reconstruction of Vuoksinskiye HPPs Cascade, Pervomayskaya and Pravoberezhnaya CHPs, Centralnaya CHP. Implemented project of modernization of Yuzhnaya CHP was represented in all details as well.
