JSC TGC-1 was included in the top 10 ranking of NP Market Council

JSC TGC-1 took second place in the ranking of generating companies and their implementation of investment programs for power supply contracts, published by non-profit partnership Market Council.

In assessing the investment activity of TGC-1 experts paid special attention to the key projects of renovation of generating capacity in the regions where company operates. Among the major projects implemented by TGC-1 in St. Petersburg is commissioning of three CCGT units — in fact new power plants: Pervomayskaya CHPP, Yuzhnaya CHPP and Pravoberezhnaya CHPP. In plans is the end of the complex reconstruction of Vuoksinskiye HPPs Cascade in Leningrad region, as well as the construction of a new generation at Centralnaya CHPP.

Rating is based on data obtained for the second quarter of 2013, and targets up to 2017 inclusive. Its goal is to assess and compare the completeness and timeliness of the execution by generating companies of the investment programs for power supply contracts.

JSC TGC-1 is not the first time highly appreciated by NP Market Council: after the results of the first quarter of 2013 the company ranked fourth.
