JSC TGC-1 has summed up the results of its business operations over the 4th quarter and 12 months of 2013.

In 2013, the volume of electric energy produced by generating enterprises of the company including JSC Murmanskaya CHPP amounted to 29,303.2 million kWh, which is by 3.6% lower than the indicator for the same period in 2012. The main reasons for the decrease were the low liquid-water content and hot weather in the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2013.

Following the results of the reporting period as compared with the indicators of 2012, performance of CHPPs increased by 2.5% to 17,312.7 million kWh, whereas performance of HEPPs decreased by 11.2% to 11,990.5 million kWh.

In general, over 12 months in 2013 performance of new power generating units at Yuzhnaya, Pervomayskaya and Pravoberezhnaya CHPPs amounted to 6,295.5 million kWh or 21.5% of the total output. Thus, performance of CCGT Units in 2013 was by 38.3% bigger than the respective indicator for 2012.

The sales volume of electric energy on the wholesale market decreased by 3.9% to 33,659.6 million kWh.

Based on the results of 12 months of 2013 the value for specific consumption of the reference fuel for supply of electric energy decreased by 3.0%.

On the whole the coefficient of utilization of the rated output power for JSC TGC-1 was fixed at 46.1%, which is by 3.6 percentage points lower than the indicator for 2012.

Supply of heating energy taking into account Murmanskaya CHPP amounted to 25,315 thousand Gcal which is, given high ambient temperatures for the 4th quarter of 2013, by 4.2% lower than the indicator for 12 months of 2012.
