Энергетики высадили деревья на Апатитской ТЭЦ
On 5th September, a cleanup day was held at the Apatitskaya CHPP of TGC-1. It was devoted to the All-Russian Environmental Event – Green Russia. Power engineers began planting a new alley of trees within the territory of the CHPP.
The event was held as a family day – the CHPP’s employees brought their children with them. The children made a series of pictures devoted to the Living Energy topic, took part in the energy quiz on ecology and efficient environmental attitude.
— We would like to ensure that future generation of power engineers will be environmentally friendship from the very childhood, will safeguard the environment and the city, - said Alexander Sobakin, Director of the TGC-1’s Apatitskaya CHPP. — We keep our facility always clean, arrange cleanup days on a regular basis and clean the territory of the CHPP. This year we decided to organize the trees planting since the industrial area needs green space even more than the cities.
