TGC-1 Power Plants received winter readiness certificates

On October 15, 2014, winter readiness certificates were handed over to all the structural units of TGC-1 at the company’s headquarters. Directors of the plants located in St. Petersburg, the Republic of Karelia, the Leningrad Oblast, and the Murmansk Oblast, as well as the heads of JSC St. Petersburg Heating Grid received the certificates stating readiness of the power plants to operate in autumn and winter season 2014-2015.

“This year, we have completed all the preparatory works on time,” said TGC-1 General Director Andrey Filippov. “Large reparative works on the hydroplants of the Lenigrad and Murmansk Oblasts and the Republic of Karelia were completed, equipment diagnostics on CHPPs of St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Apatity and Petrozavodsk were done. The necessary principal and back-up fuel reserves were stocked and the personnel were certified. The company’s generating capacity is ready for the new season”.

The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation signed the Readiness Protocol of the TGC-1 power complex on October 3, 2014.
