A System of Technological Data Exchange with the Automated System of the System Operator (SOTI ASSO) has been commissioned and put into commercial operation at the power plants of the Niva HPPs Cascade of TGC-1. At the Paz HPPs Cascade of TGC-1, a SOTI ASSO has been launched on 3 of the 5 hydroelectric power plants, including the Rajakoski, Jäniskoski and Kaitakoski HPPs.

In 2015, the company is going to continue working on the deployment of the system at the Borisoglebskaya and Hevoskoski HPPs, as well as at the Apatitskaya CHPP.

“We plan to finish SOTI ASSO deployment at all plants of TGC-1 in Murmansk Oblast by the end of the year. This will allows us to capture equipment performance data, monitor electricity generation and manage capacity in a timely and efficient manner,” said Oleg Tyapinov, Deputy Chief Engineer at the Kolskiy Branch of TGC-1.

SOTI ASSO collects performance data from hydroelectric power plants’ generating equipment and makes it available both to plants’ staff responsible for operations and maintenance and to System Operator’s dispatchers.
