Condominium owners vote for direct payment for the heat
On March 19, 2015, the first general assembly took place of condominium owners that are managed by ZhKS No. 2 Vasileostrovskogo rayona LLC on the matter of transfer to direct payment to JSC TGC-1 for the heat services.
As of 01.03.2015, the debt of ZhKS No. 2 Vasileostrovskogo rayona LLC to JSC TGC-1 exceeded RUB 568 million.
“Our rate of heat payment collection with ZhKS No. 2 Vasileostrovskogo rayona LLC is currently close to 70 percent. Our experience shows that after the transfer to direct payment, the collection rate will reach a minimum of 95 percent, since most individuals pay properly,” said Sergey Lapin, Director of the Sales Directorate of JSC TGC-1. “The residents will not be billed the debt of the managing company to JSC TGC-1,” he added.
The transfer to direct payment to the heat supplier will not affect the quality of the heat and hot water supply. The only thing that will change is the payee in the bills. If the general assembly makes a common decision to transfer to direct payment, the residents of that house will get separate heat bills with the details of JSC TGC-1.
Direct payment will remove dealers and make the settlement with end users transparent. Payment will be accepted without any extra fees at any office of OJSC Sberbank of Russia, CJSC Petroelektrosbyt, FSUE Post of Russia or OJSC Bank Otkrytiye.
