Residents of the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg want to pay for utility services directly without dealers
From March 9 to March 15, 2015 JSC TGC-1 and the Sankt-Peterburgskiye Vedomosti newspaper did an opinion poll among St. Petersburgers who live in the service area of ZhKS No. 2 Vasileostrovskogo rayona LLC.
The number of participants of the telephone poll was 2,743. They replied to questions on the quality of services to condominiums and utility services.
According to the poll, 70.6% of apartment owners would like to pay for heat and hot water directly to the producers, without any dealers. More than a half (52.89%) of the people whose houses are managed by ZhKS No. 2 Vasileostrovskogo rayona LLC did not know their utility company. The residents also said they did not complain to the company on matters of payment and utility bills; only 2% did it on a regular basis.
“Most residents of the Vasileostrovsky district who we asked said they paid utility bills in due time. The fact that their managing company, ZhKS No. 2 Vasileostrovskogo rayona LLC, owed over 500 million rubles for the heat, was an unpleasant surprise for them. It is no wonder that 70.6% of the respondents would like to control where their money goes,” said Sergey Lapin, Director of the Sales Directorate of JSC TGC-1.
