JSC TGC-1 celebrates the 10th anniversary of the registration

March 25, 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the state registration of JSC TGC-1

Established as a result of the reform of the Russian power sector the Territorial Generating Company No. 1 united power plants of St. Petersburg, Leningrad Oblast, Karelia and the Kola Peninsula in one complex, becoming the largest producer of heat and electricity in the North-West of Russia.

JSC TGC-1 with the support of the strategic shareholder - Gazprom Energoholding LLC (100% subsidiary of JSC Gazprom) is one of the main investors in the power sector of the region. Over the past few years the Company has commissioned more than 1.5 GW of new capacities in St. Petersburg, Republic of Karelia, Leningrad Oblast and the Arctic Circle, actually fulfilling the liabilities for the construction of generation under the capacity delivery agreements.

Today JSC TGC-1 continues to focus on projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and environmental safety of power-generating facilities.

On its anniversary JSC TGC-1 launches the section devoted to the results of ten years of business activity of the Company. The section provides interesting facts about the activities of TGC-1, information about the landmark events in the life of the country and the industry, media materials and comments of the employees, shareholders and experts.
