The Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Igor Albin visited the Pervomayskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1

On March 26, 2015 as part of the weekly visits to the city's H&U and FEC facilities the Vice-Governor Igor Albin and the  managers of the committees supervised by him visited the Pervomayskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1.

During the visit, the vice-governor examined the new CCGT power unit of the Pervomayskaya CHPP, commissioned in 2011, the auxiliary building with water heating and steam boilers under construction, the 6 kV switchgear and the water treatment equipment of the plant.

- the Pervomayskaya CHPP is a unique facility of the Company's Investment Program, - said the General Director of JSC TGC-1 Alexey Barvinok. - Having built two power units in 2011, we solved the issue with the displacement of electricity, and the commissioning of the combined complex in October 2015 will solve the issue with the heat capacity. This scheme will allow to commission the outdated capacities, improve production efficiency and reduce the environmental impact on the city and the region.

Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, emphasizing the social significance of the Pervomayskaya CHPP, the heating area of which is home to about half a million citizens of Saint Petersburg and also contains the largest industrial enterprises, congratulated the JSC TGC-1 with the anniversary of operation:

- Commissioning the facility on the year of the tenth anniversary of JSC TGC-1 is a significant event for the city and for the whole country, - said Igor Albin.
