JSC TGC-1 announces the beginning of a creative competition "The Real Power Engineering"

In the anniversary year of the largest manufacturer of heat and electricity in the North-West of Russia JSC TGC-1 is holding a competition for journalists, photographers and bloggers "The Real Power Engineering."

The competition is dedicated to the power system of the region, generating facilities and those who work today in the power industry from the Baltic to the Barents Sea: on the territory of four subjects of the Russian Federation there are 54 power plants and 7,000 employees of TGC-1.

The jury will accept reports, articles, TV and radio piece, interviews with employees of the power plants, essays and sketches about the power facilities of TGC-1 created in 2015. The winners will be determined in two categories: "The Real Power Engineers" and "The Real Power Facilities" The winners will receive valuable prizes from the organizers and partners of the competition.

- "The Real Power Engineering" is a competition, which will kicks off on the year of the tenth anniversary of JSC TGC-1, and, of course, the main characters of the materials should be our power engineers and the facilities of the Company - their biography, history, geography, - said Alexey Barvinok, the General Director of JSC TGC 1. - Each power plant is unique, each one gives life to the region. This is exactly what we want to tell about!

Submissions will be accepted from April 1 to August 15, 2015. Photos will become the basis for a series of exhibitions "The Real Power Engineering", which will be held in September 2015 in St. Petersburg, Murmansk and Petrozavodsk.
