The results of the first competition of professional skills of the occupational safety specialists of JSC TGC-1 are in

In St. Petersburg, on the basis of the Training Center of JSC TGC-1 a competition of professional skills of the occupational safety specialists was held.

19 representatives of structural divisions of the company were fighting it out for two days for the right to become number one. During the competition the power engineers demonstrated their knowledge of the regulations on occupational safety, the ability to identify and address violations of the rules of occupational safety, as well as practical skills in providing first aid to a victim of an accident at work.

Winners were named based on the results of the five stages. First place went to Dmitriy Krasilnikov from the Apatitskaya CHPP, the second place went to an employee of the Kem HPPs Cascade, Dmitriy Abramov, the third - power engineer of the Niva HPPs Cascade, Alexey Guytov.

- The competition gives the opportunity to improve their professional level, to deepen the knowledge that the professionals use in their daily work. And we, on the other hand, were able to assess the level of knowledge and skills of our specialists to identify areas for further improvement in the field of occupational safety, - said the Chairman of the Competition Committee, Deputy Chief Engineer of JSC TGC-1, Alexey Vorobyov.

The Head of the Training Center of JSC TGC-1, Viktor Plotnikov congratulated the participants and noted the relevance of the Competition:

- The Company pays great attention to safety. It is important to assess the our specialists' knowledge of the normative documents, to understand how the prevention of dangerous situations is organized at the facilities. I think, that the competition of professional skills of the occupational safety specialists will become a regular event.
