BigPicture.ru became a partner in the competition of JSC TGC-1 for journalists, photographers and bloggers "The Real Power"

The largest information-entertainment portal in Russian Bigpicture.ru became the official partner of the competition "The Real Power" held by JSC TGC-1 in the year of the 10th anniversary of the Company. The editors of BigPicture will be part of the jury and will select the best works submitted by the journalists, photographers and bloggers.

The competition is dedicated to the power system of the region, generating facilities and those who work today in the power industry from the Baltic to the Barents Sea: on the territory of four subjects of Russia there are 54 power plants and 7,000 employees of TGC-1.

- Our facilities reliably provide the consumers of the Northwest with light and heat, without which it is difficult to imagine a comfortable life of modern person. We want to show the work hidden behind it, - said Larisa Semenova, head of the Public Relations Department of JSC TGC-1. - Most of our HPP and CHPP are located in picturesque locations, and have a unique architecture that will certainly be interesting for photographers and bloggers.

The competition will accept reports, articles, TV and radio piece, interviews with employees of the power plants, essays and sketches about the power facilities of the Company, created in 2015. The winners will be determined in two categories: "The Real Power Engineers" and "The Real Power Facilities" The winners will receive valuable prizes from the organizers and partners of the competition.

Works can be submitted until August 15, 2015. Photos will become the basis for a series of exhibitions "The Real Power Engineering", which will be held in September 2015 in St. Petersburg, Murmansk and Petrozavodsk.
