The Murmanskaya CHPP shifted to summer operation mode

On 01 June 2015 pursuant to the decree of the Murmansk Government, the Murmanskaya CHPP which is the largest heat provider in the city, shifted to the summer operation mode.

During the heating period, the Murmanskaya CHPP delivered 1,983 mln Gcal to consumers. Peak loads were recorded in January 2015.

— At present time preparatory works for the next heating period are made. During the summer period it is planned to repair four steam and water boilers, replace over 600 meters of heating mains at Marata Street, Kopytova Street, Radischeva Street, and Academician Pavlov Street, said Stanislav Nazarov, CEO of the Murmanskaya CHPP.
