03 June 2015

On 03 June 2015 in Murmashi, the professional photographer Alexander Popov delivered a master class in industrial photography for Murmansk correspondents and bloggers. This event passed within the framework of the Real Energy contest arranged by JSC TGC-1 on the year of its 10-th Anniversary.

— Production facilities, such as HPPs and CHPPs are extremely interesting for photographing. You may always find something to catch your eye – equipment, renovation process, personnel, said Alexander Popov. – However there are many special features to consider, you should strictly comply with the safety precautions, and be aware of technical aspects.

Participants of the master class had a chance to memorize the information received and make pictures under control of the professional photographer during the tour around the TGC-1’s Nizhne-Tulomskaya HPP. Photographers visited the rack room, the water discharge unit and unique operating fish passage.

— We are glad to invite photographers, bloggers and correspondents to our premises, many of which are located in very picturesque places and have unique structure and architecture. Our main objective is to make an interesting story for our readers on principles of HPPs and CHPPs operation and how interesting and how responsible the power engineer job is, said Larisa Semenova, Head of TGC-1’s Public Relations Department.

Real Energy Industry contest welcomes interviews, articles, videos and radio stories, interviews with power plant personnel, overviews and short stories about TGC-1’s power generation facilities created in 2015.
