The Yuzhnaya CHPP team to win JSC TGC-1 Operating Personnel Competition

Professional excellence competition among JSC TGC-1 CHPP specialists held in St. Petersburg is over. A first place by overall score was given to energy workers at the Yuzhnaya CHPP.

In four days, ten teams representing Company's CHPPs in St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Leningrad and Murmansk Oblast were demonstrating knowledge of occupational safety, equipment management skills, and emergency response. The challenge was brought close to the real conditions.

"The Competition reveals the real proficiency level of personnel", - remarked Deputy Chief Engineer at JSC TGC-1 Alexei Vorobiev during a high-profile awards ceremony. "The Company implements operating personnel continuous excellence system. We will thoroughly analyse competition results and will consider them for further specialist training”.

Equipment fire response and first aid were the most spectacular and challenging parts of the competition.

"Operating Personnel Competition allow participants to excel professional skills that will be later applied on a daily basis", - added Director at the Yuzhnaya CHPP Andrey Sergeev.

The second place went to the Apatitskaya CHPP team, the third place went to the Centralnaya CHPP team at JSC TGC-1.
