While preparing for the heat season in 2015 and 2016, energy workers of JSC TGC-1 repaired and replaced 2.5km of heat supply grids in the Prionezhsky and Pryazhinsky Districts.

The repair was completed along the transit pipelines in Essoila, Vedlosera, Chalna, and Svyatozero villages in the Pryazhinsky District as well as Shuya village in the Prionezhsky District.

"Once TGC-1 was assigned the status of an integrated heat supply company, it completed full diagnostics of the transit pipelines and equipment of 30 boiler facilities in the Pryazhinsky and Prionezhsky Districts. Since a transit pipeline is the main artery for heat and hot water supply to consumers, we decided to restore the most vulnerable sections to ensure reliable and uninterrupted heat supply", says Igor Kartsev, Chief Engineering of TGC-1 Karelskiy Branch.

Energy workers also completed packaged installation to prepare equipment for autumn and winter in the boiler facilities in Pryazha, Derevyanka, and Pai. The brickwork of the boiler in Sheltozero was repaired, exhaust blowers were installed at the boiler facilities, the controller at the boiler facility of Kvartsytny and Derevyanka villages was overhauled, and the boiler automatic control system was overhauled in Derevyannoye settlement.

"The scale of work completed in 2015 is much larger than in the previous years", comments Vladimir Bogdanov, Chief Engineer for Heat Sales of the Prionezhsky District, TGC-1 Karelskiy Branch. "The work in progress now will significantly improve heat supply reliability for 35,000 consumers and ensure safe and efficient operation of boiler facility equipment in autumn and winter.
