Murmanskaya CHPP starts the heating season

On September 8, 2015 in accordance with the Regulation of the Executive Office of Murmansk OJSC Murmanskaya CHPP that is the largest heat supply system started the heating season.

“The station equipment started working. The heat connection of the accommodation is carried out by the management companies step-by-step and it takes several days”, explained Stanislav Nazarov, Executive Director of PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP.

During the non-heating season 8 steam and water-heating boilers were overhauled in Centralnaya CHPP, Yuznaya and Vostochnaya boiler facilities, pressure and general tests of the heating grids were conducted. On the following streets: Marata, Radisheva, Kopytova, Kuibysheva, 1, 300 metres of pipelines were replaced.  

The key task in providing for the heat supply reliability in the upcoming heat season is to decrease consumers’ debts. The debts for heat to the management companies and Murmansk Homeowner association amounts to RUB 2.64 bn, 85% of consumers are charged for heat directly.
