The Turn Your Head On animation and graphic art competition will represent Leningrad Oblast on the federal stage of ENES, the national energy saving and energy efficiency competition

Turn Your Head On, an international animation and graphic art competition, has won the regional stage of the second ENES-2015 national competition. The jury decided that the project is the best to promote energy among children of pre-school and school age in Leningrad Oblast.

“Saving energy resources enables their regional use and cuts the cost of their production and transportation as well as the cost of housing for the people and state-funded organizations. There should be more of such projects, and their promotion is an important task nowadays,” said Yury Andreyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on the Fuel and Energy Sector, at the award ceremony.

Responsible energy consumption has caused animated reaction in students of creative majors, designers, and beginning and professional artists. The Turn Your Head On competition has received over 200 works from participants in various cities of Russia and the CIS states including animation videos, graphic projects, comic papers, posters, and clip art.

The winners of the federal stage of the competition will be announced and awarded in the framework of third ENES Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving international forum on November 19-21, 2015.
