JSC TGC- completed implementation of the technological information exchange system in the Murmansk Oblast

Technological information system for exchange with the automated system operator system was commissioned at the TGC-1’s Borisoglebskaya HPP. Thus, the project comprising implementation of technological information system for exchange with the automated system operator system which was started in 2006, was completed at all 17 HPPs of the Kola peninsula and Apatitskaya CHPP.

“Commissioning of the technological information system for exchange with the automated system operator system at all TGC-1’s HPPs in the Murmansk Oblast will provide a basis for further automation and improvement of the energy facilities control systems in the region,” said Oleg Tyapinov, Deputy Chief Engineer of JSC TGC-1 Kolskiy Branch. A stable local network, CCTV monitoring, and technological communication network were installed following the commissioning.

Technological information system for exchange with the automated system operator system provides in real time the information about electric power plant operation modes to the operating and maintenance staff, and the System operator. This ensures more accurate and timely decision making on increasing or decreasing HPPs and CHPPs load.

The system was commissioned stage by stage. 1380 km of new fiber optic communication channels were routed.
