JSC TGC-1 Investment Projects presented at MIPIM International Trade Show

On March 15, 2016, within the framework of MIPIM International Trade Show in Cannes, St.Petersburg Government has presented the largest investment projects completed by TGC-1.

Construction of CCGT units at Yuzhnaya, Pervomayskaya and Pravoberezhnaya CHPPs were presented to the global experts as a “History of Success”.

Improvement of heat and electricity supply reliability, commissioning of new capacities, retrofit of the worn-out equipment and improvement of production efficiency are the main high priority tasks which are solved by the company during the past few years.

 – Integration of JSC TGC-1 within Gazprom Group played an essential role in TGC-1 establishment and development. Since 2009, TGC-1 has been commissioned over 1.6 GW only under capacity supply contracts. Commissioning of up-to-date CCGT units at Pervomayskaya, Yuzhnaya and Pravoberezhnaya CHPPs allowed to significantly update the production facilities of St. Petersburg. At present time, the modernization of Centralnaya CHPP and expansion of Pervomayskaya CHPP are in process, said Aleksey Barvinok, General Director of JSC TGC-1.
