HPPs Operating Staff Competition Started at Centralnaya CHPP of JSC TGC-

Professional competition among the employees of JSC TGC-1 HPPs are held in St. Petersburg from June 20 through June 24, 2016. Nine teams from St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Republic of Karelia, Leningrad and Murmansk Regions take part in the competition.

— The competition is held annually. It helps to reveal the level of professional skills of the employees and set the targets for the next professional trainings. Besides it allows power specialists to demonstrate and improve their knowledge , and adopt the best practices of the colleagues in terms of equipment operation, – Viktoria Plotnikova, the Head of JCS TGC-1 Training Centre said.

The participants shall undergo eight stages: demonstrate their knowledge of safety rules and regulatory documents, boiling equipment operation skills, first aid skills and emergency response .

Power specialists will demonstrate their professional skills on virtual simulators and specially equipped ranges that maximally emulates real working conditions.
