Gazprom Energoholding Group named the winners of the contest for young professionals and innovators

September 22, 2016. The results of the V Contest for Young Professionals and Innovators, held by Gazprom Energoholding LLC were announced in St. Petersburg. Representatives of PJSC Mosenergo, PJSC MOEK, PJSC OGC-2 and PJSC TGC-1 took part in the final competition. 24 projects were presented to the jury.

The winners were selected according to the following criteria: quality of research, the degree of engineering study, innovation of the proposed concepts and potential implementation of the project in Gazprom Energoholding Group.

You must work together to solve the top challenges of the industry, and we will support you, "- said Mikhail Fedorov, Director for Production, Gazprom Energoholding LLC, to the contestants.

According to the voting results the expert commission named winners in two categories.

The winners in the Control and Automation category are:

1. Nikita Vydrin, Sergey Ivanov – PJSC TGC-1 (Subject: Accident risks mitigation during the start-up operations at CCGT Units of CHPPs by regulating process operations);

2. Alexander Samsonov – PJSC Mosenergo (Subject: Development of video surveillance system to control the personnel in the process of routine switching in electricity-generating units);

3. Alexander Sosnin – PJSC TGC-1 (Subject: Application of Microsoft Power BI software for business analysis of data to facilitate receivables management).

The winners in the Engineering Solutions category are:

1. Dmitry Kutashevsky, Mikhail Shmelev – PJSC OGC-2 (Subject: Implementation of vacuum system for raw coal bunkers drawdown during long-term boiler units stoppage);

2. Alexey Pulinovsky – PJSC OGC-2 (Subject: Optimization of circulating water consumption at 300 MW power units at Stavropolskaya GRES, a branch of PJSC OGK-2);

3. Ruslan Kazarov – PJSC MOEK (Subject: Electrified Package Posts at PJSC MOEK facilities).
