TGC-1 energy specialists completed large-scale modernization of district heating networks in Anokhin Street

Large-scale modernization of main heating network has been completed in Petrozavodsk, in Anokhin Street. Reliable operation of the reconstructed passage will guarantee heat energy supply to more than 150 thousand inhabitants of the districts of Golikovka, Zareka, Kukkovka, as well as the City Center.

The project, launched in Autumn 2014, has been implemented in three stages. The scope of works included replacement of the aged district heating networks, installation of increased diameter pipelines and on-line remote monitoring system. The new networks' total length is 2.6 km.

– Over a long period of time PJSC TGC-1 has been implementing the program for Petrozavodsk district heating network improvement. The scope of completed works includes reconstructed sections in Komsomolskiy Prospect, Vedlozerskaya Street from Studencheskiy Pereulok to Drevlyanskaya Naberezhnaya. Step-by-step TGC-1 specialists have fulfilled a colossal scope of work. Now another big project in Anokhin Street has been finished, notes Valery Belov, Deputy General Director of PJSC TGC-1 – Director of the Karelskiy Branch.

Stage 2 was the most difficult. The works required installation of temporary district heating pipeline in Anokhin Street along houses No. 12, 8 and 30. In accordance with the design, the pipeline was installed in the green zone, but without affecting it.
