Murmansk residents have paid off a RUB 31 million debt in the course of debt remission campaign

Murmanskaya CHPP summarized the campaign Towards winter with no debts! In October 2016 the residents were offered to pay off the debts for heat and hot water services in full. When payments were performed in full discharge the heat supplier wrote off penalty fees.

3 000 residents of Murmansk participated in the campaign. A RUB 31.6 million debt was paid off.

From January 1, 2016 the penalty fee had increased significantly. The penalty fee comprises 23% of the debt per year, thus, paying on time is a lot more profitable for the consumers.

— We are grateful to the residents for their high payment discipline and conscientious attitude to timely payment for communal services, — said Alexander Parskiy, Sales Director of PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP. — It is the amount of collected payments for supplied heat that affects the reliability of the heating season performance.
