Alexey Barvinok, General Director of TGC-1, received the award of the Expert Northwest business magazine

Alexey Barvinok, General Director of TGC-1, received the award of the Expert Northwest business magazine in the Expert in Production Sector Category. The award is granted to public figures and business representatives who have made the most significant contribution to the development of business and social life of St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region and other areas of the Northwestern Federal District and who have proven to be high-level experts. TGC-1’s project on reconstruction of Pervomayskaya CHPP was among the participants of the contest.

“For our company it is a priority and a unique project for upgrading capacities. At the present day Pervomayskaya CHPP is one of the most powerful power plants in St. Petersburg and the most environmentally friendly one in Russia,” said Alexey Barvinok, General Director of TGC-1, “I'm sure our efforts will serve the future development of the region, and the magazine will have even more positive reasons for publishing articles.”

The company was also awarded for projects and programs in the Expert in Volunteer Services and Charity Category.

The Award Expert Council includes more than 30 top-ranked professionals from different areas: culture, education, science and industry. The Chairman of the Council is Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage Museum.
