Energy Wishing Christmas Tree “lights up” in the regions of TGC-1's operational activity

On 20 December 2017, master classes in figure skating and hockey for children from the Centre for Family Education Promotion No. 5 were held in Tauride Garden entertainment complex.

TGC-1 teamed up with SKA-Serebryanye Lvy hockey club and Junior youth sports school.

After the spectacular performance of young figure skaters, the professional hockey team of Junior Hockey League SKA-Serebryanye Lvy and coaches of the school with the same title occupied the ice. Sportsmen conducted a play training for guests, as well as demonstrated the basic techniques of ice-skating.

"Annually, before Engineer’s Day and the New Year, we try to bring joy to children living in state orphanages of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast, residents of Petrozavodsk and schoolchildren of the Murmansk Oblast. Making children dreams come true at the energy Wishing Christmas Tree became our good tradition," pointed Svetlana Krasnoshchekova, Head of charity and sponsor projects of TGC-1.

 The Wishing Christmas Tree is organised not only in St. Petersburg but in other regions of the Company's operation, too.

Energetic engineers helped school No. 11 in Rayakoski settlement, kindergarten No. 35 and the complex centre of social services for residents of Apatity in the Murmansk Oblast.  TGC-1 has been developing children sports in Zapolyarye for many years. A children hockey team in Zelenoborskiy settlement received new ammunition. Employees of Knyazhegubskaya HPP participate in the improvement and support of the skating rink on an annual basis.

The skating rink will be opened again with the Company's support in Gubernatorsky park of Petrozavodsk.  Various workshops and festivals will take place during several months of work of the rink for guests and residents of the capital of the Republic.
