TGC-1 increased electricity output of CHPPs by 5.0% in Q1 2019

Electricity output of TGC-1, including PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP, for Q1 2019 comprised 8,370.2 million kWh, which is 5.1% lower than for the same period of 2018.

Electricity output of CHPPs increased by 5.0% due to market conditions of wholesale electricity and capacity market and increased load of the stations upon the request of the System Operator of Unified Power System. The comparable electricity output by HPPs decreased by 21.0% due to the lower water content at all branches of the Company.

For Q1 2019, heat output of TGC-1, including PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP, comprised 9,740.2 thousand Gcal, which is 6.8% lower compared to Q1 2018. Decrease in heat output was caused by climatic factors.
