TGC-1 CHPPs in St. Petersburg have switched to the summer mode

On 13 May 2019 from 3 p.m. all heat power plants of TGC-1 have switched to the summer mode in accordance with the order of the Committee on Energy and Engineering Support of St. Petersburg's Administration.

"TGC-1's power plants are ready to run the summer repair campaign as scheduled," noted Chief Engineer of TGC-1 Alexey Vorobyev. "20 major and medium repairs of the heat power plants' main equipment will be conducted as part of the preparation to the next autumn–winter period, as well as diagnostics and repair of the heat supply system at all the facilities."

 

For reference

Nine CHPPs of the Company supplied 16.9 million Gcal of heat to customers for 232 days of the 2018/2019 heating season. Electricity output amounted to 11.72 billion kWh.
