In accordance with the orders of local authorities, Apatitskaya CHPP finished the heating season in the city of Apatity on 8 June 2019 and in the city of Kirovsk on 13 June 2019.

The season began on 12 September 2018 and lasted 274 days.

"For the reliable supply next winter, the main and auxiliary equipment will be repaired during the non-heating season, including flue gas ducts, storage tanks and spay cooling ponds. We also plan to replace 500 m of transit pipelines and 150 m of railroads," Aleksandr Sobakin, Director of Apatitskaya CHPP of TGC-1, noted.

Apatitskaya CHPP of TGC-1 is located in Apatity of Murmansk Oblast. It is the only heat supplier in the cities of Apatity and Kirovsk. Its installed electric capacity amounts to 230 MW, and installed heat capacity to 535 Gcal/h. Coal is the main fuel type.

TGC-1 is a leading producer and supplier of electricity and heat in the North-West of Russia.
