On 25 June in Saint-Petersburg, within the Russian International Energy Forum, the award ceremony was held for laureates of the International Contest of Scientific, Technical and Innovative Developments aimed at developing the fuel and energy and mining industries

On 25 June in Saint-Petersburg, within the Russian International Energy Forum, the award ceremony was held for laureates of the International Contest of Scientific, Technical and Innovative Developments aimed at developing the fuel and energy and mining industries.

This year, 197 works were presented. The judges highly rated the projects of TGC-1 employees. Elena Balbukova, Lead Engineer of TGC-1 Training Center, was awarded the laureate certificate of the second prize of the contest for the work "Reduction of the dynamics of bottom ash waste accumulation and production of consumable goods from bottom ash wastes of the Kolsky branch of Apatitskaya CHPP of TGC-1."

Anna Aristova, Senior Specialist of Capital Construction Directorate of Avtovskaya CHPP of TGC-1, was awarded the laureate certificate of the third prize of the contest for the work "Application of information modelling technologies in power plants."

"The works presented in the contest have already been implemented or are in process of implementation. Such events motivate employees to create new developments and make suggestions. The implementation of many projects over the past years has had a significantly positive impact. I would like to notice that the quality of the works applied for the contest has been improving year on year," said Victoria Plotnikova, Head of TGC-1 Training Center.

The Annual International Contest of Scientific, Technical and Innovative Developments aimed at promoting fuel, energy and mining industries is held with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia. The contest is designed to promote innovative development of fuel, energy and mining industries and the development of human resources.
