TGC-1 power plants in St. Petersburg have switched to winter operating mode

Starting from 24 September 2019, in accordance with the order of the Energy and Engineering Committee under St. Petersburg Administration, nine combined heat and power plants of TGC-1 in St. Petersburg will operate in a winter heat delivery mode. At the same time, the connection of residential facilities, adjustment of domestic heat supply systems is made by management organisations in stages and takes several days.

To provide continuous heat supply to consumers in the heating season of 2019/20 the Company specialists performed all the required preventive maintenance and planned overhaul of the main equipment.

TGC-1 is the major heat power supplier in St. Petersburg. Nine CHPPs supply heat to the citizen and enterprises of St. Petersburg. The company's share on the heat power market of St. Petersburg exceeds 50%.

TGC-1 comprises 53 power plants within four constituent entities of the Russian Federation: St. Petersburg, the Republic of Karelia, and Leningrad and Murmansk Oblasts. The installed electric power capacity of TGC-1 is 6.95 GW, heat capacity — 13.65 thousand Gcal/h.
