Petrozavodskaya CHPP switched to winter operating mode

On 20 September 2019, Petrozavodskaya CHPP, the major heat supply plant of Petrozavodsk, switched to winter operating mode, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services, and Energy of the Republic of Karelia.
“The equipment and heat supply grids were brought to the necessary temperature parameters. The management organisations connect residential facilities in stages, it takes few days due to the need to adjust domestic heating systems,” said Aleksandr Vdovichenko, Director of Petrozavodskaya CHPP of TGC-1.
The exact timing of heat supply depends on the operation of the utilities and management companies.
