TGC-1 has obtained the Certificate of Readiness for winter

TGC-1 has obtained the Certificate of Readiness for the heating season 2019–2020. The decision was made by order No. 1225 by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation dated 15 November 2019 "On the Results of Assessment of Readiness of Electric Power Facilities for the Heating Season 2019–2020".

In 2017, the Government of the Russian Federation approved new rules for the assessment of readiness of the electric power facilities for the heating season. The level of readiness is set depending on the index, which is determined based on fulfilment of the conditions for readiness in the heating season.

The preparation for the autumn-winter season for TGC-1 power plants included repair of the main and its auxiliary equipment, the necessary inspections and diagnostics of buildings and structures, expert examinations of industrial safety, and checking the reliability and operability of fire-fighting and emergency control systems. A reserve of material and technical resources for emergency and recovery works was created, and the necessary resources of repair workers and special equipment were provided. In accordance with the task of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the necessary reserves of backup and emergency fuel have been arranged at the thermal power plants.
