Power Unit No. 2 of the Pravoberezhnaya CHPP of TGC-1 PJSC has passed a competitive selection and since January 2021 participates in ensuring the system reliability of the Unified Energy System of Russia in terms of rated primary frequency control (RPFC).

The RPFC is aimed at minimization of the power grid frequency deviations in the event of a power imbalance in any part of the power system. A stable frequency of 50 Hz is the most important parameter for the power supply quality and a necessary condition for electrical equipment operation.

In order to comply with the requirements of the organization standard of SO UPS JSC, the power unit of the Pravoberezhnaya CHPP passed the necessary tests and received a certificate of conformity.
