«Зеленые» сертификаты ПАО «ТГК-1» будут продаваться на Санкт-Петербургской Международной Товарно-сырьевой Бирже
TGС-1 PJSC and the Saint-Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX JSC) signed a partnership agreement on 9 December. The agreement seeks to establish cooperation to develop and organize trade of electrical energy, produced from renewable sources and also ‘green’ certificates confirming that energy was obtained by TGC-1 from such sources.
The agreement performance will improve the economic efficiency at the specified markets and drive projects aimed at carbon footprint reduction.
“We can already offer our customers several options of getting ‘green’ energy, with purchasing a certificate on SPIMEX being the easiest and most available one. Transparent certificate e-trading will enable us set a fair market price for ‘clean’ energy. Thus all companies interested in decarbonization of their production facilities and process, achieving sustainable development goals and improving their ESG rating will be able to get ‘green’ energy from our renewable sources,” highlighted Alfred Yagafarov, Deputy Managing Director for Electricity & Capacity Sales at TGC-1.
“SPIMEX experience along with a powerful technology platform give us an opportunity to successfully organize our work on promising markets, in particular on the emerging ‘green certificates’ market,” said Anton Karpov, Vice President at SPIMEX.
