November 1, 2012 an extensive renovation of Iovskaya HPP began. It’s the station of the Niva HPPs Cascade of JSC TGC-1.

TGC-1 has released its financial results for the first 9 months of 2012 under Russian Accounting Standards.

TGC-1 has announced its production results for the first 9 months of 2012.

As part of the business plan preparation process, the Board of Directors of TGC-1 gathered for a regular meeting to discuss the production and financial performance indicators expected to be achieved in 2013 and to review the key targets of the investment programme.

After successful testing of equipment and main and auxiliary systems of JSC TGC-1 the unit № 1 at Matkozhnenskaya HPP began to produce energy. The hydroelectric generator with power 21 MW needed to be recovered after the abnormal situation in August 2012.

On October 18, 2012 in Murmansk the results of Thermal Energy Consumer Rating of JSC TGC-1 which runs from 2009 were sized up.

October 15, 2012 JSC TGC-1 and JSC St. Petersburg Heating Grid began the heating season. All 9 CHPs that serve more than half of residential and industrial facilities of St. Petersburg, began regular heating.

Sergei Kruglyakov who previously served as Director for Economy and Finance of the Kolsky branch of JSC TGC-1 appointed head of the financial department of the company.

October 8, 2012 Pravoberezhnaya CHP of JSC TGC-1 celebrates its 90th anniversary. It is the successor of the thermal power plant that was built on the plan of electrification and was called Red October.

The Board of Directors decided to appoint Igor Strenadko as General Director of JSC St. Petersburg Heating Grid. Earlier he held an office Chief Engineer of the company.
