The overall electricity generation by TGC-1, including Murmanskaya CHPP, for the nine months 2015, insignificantly reduced year-over-year by 1.6% to 18,841 million kWh resulting in 0.3% electricity sales reduction to 21,304 million kWh.
October 29, 2015, the first stage of sweeping rebuild of Palieozerskaya HPP of JSC TGC-1 was completed as the Hydroelectric Unit 2 commissioning took place. Under the 2-year plant upgrade programme, a fundamentally new control system with innovative compact electric cylinder was brought in.
On October 27, 2015, in JSC TGC-1 Management all Company’s structural subdivisions received availability certificates. Directors of power plants located in St. Petersburg, Republic of Karelia, Leningrad and Murmansk Oblasts received 2015-2016 autumn-winter availability certificates for power- generating facilities.
Official celebrations took place in Zelenoborskiy settlement, Murmansk Oblast, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of TGC-1 Knyazhegubskaya HPP. A memorial was unveiled at the power plant site to honour hydraulic structures builders.

On 15 October, 2015, based on the conclusions of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Committee, JSC TGC-1 received an availability certificate for 2015-2016 autumn-winter period.
On October 7, 2015, JSC TGC-1 had an award ceremony for the winners of the Real Energy competition for reporters, photographers, and bloggers at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
On October 5, 2015, a book entitled Ahead of the Time: a Photo Record of the Power Sector in the Northwest was presented in the new building of the National Library of Karelia. The book was published with the support of JSC TGC-1 in the year of its 10th anniversary. The meeting was attended by working energy professionals, industry veterans, and delegates of the Blockade Leningrad society in Petrozavodsk.
