August 8, 2013 documentary of famous Karelian filmmaker Konstantine Lenchitsky was released. It is dedicated to Matkozhnenskaya HPP and the events that took place here from 7 to 8 August 2012 in Karelia.

The Southern boiler house of Murmanskaya CHPP celebrated 40 years anniversary. Its project was driven by the unprecedented scale of housing development that unfolded in the 1960s and 1970s in Murmansk. With the commissioning of each house the pressure on the station grew. At that time it was the only one enterprise providing the city with heat and hot water.

August 1, 2013 at the head office of JSC TGC-1 were awarded winners of the X Open competition for the best graduation projects among students of power specialties of higher educational institutions in St. Petersburg, Murmansk and Petrozavodsk.

July 25, 2013 Aleksandr Hudilainen visited Matkozhnenskaya HPP. Head of the Republic of Karelia got acquainted with the work carried out on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the station.

In Murmansk region to Iovskaya HPP of Nivskiye HPPs Cascade of JSC TGC-1 the impeller of hydraulic unit #1 was delivered.

The major repair of the hydraulic unit №1 at Yushkozerskaya HPP and the repair of the bypass switch at Krivoporozhkaya HPP of Kemskiye HPPs Cascade completed.

June 24, 2013 it was held the first meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC TGC-1 in the new structure, elected by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company.

June 26, 2013 Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee awarded prizes at the Company's headquarters to the winners of a corporate contest aimed at assessing the work done by the public relations (PR) services of Gazprom's subsidiaries in 2012.
