On January 28, 2015, the State Committee of the Republic of Karelia for Prices and Tariffs set tariffs for heat supplied by TGC-1 to consumers in Petrozavodsk as well as in the Pryazhinsky and Prionezhsky municipalities.
Since February 1, 2015, JSC TGC-1 has terminated a contract for heat supply with the Housing and Communal services №2 of Vasileostrovskiy district LCC. In February 2015, the residents will be charged for heat and hot water directly by JSC TGC-1.
On Saturday 17 January 2015, outdoor festivities were arranged for the residents and guests of Petrozavodsk in Gubernatorsky Park beside the TGC-1 ice rink.
A System of Technological Data Exchange with the Automated System of the System Operator (SOTI ASSO) has been commissioned and put into commercial operation at the power plants of the Niva HPPs Cascade of TGC-1.
On 17 January, JSC TGC-1 welcomes all residents and tourists of Petrozavodsk for the opening of the ice rink in the Governor’s park. At the opening of long-expected winter ice-skating season the Karelian Center of Volunteer Development, the Petrozavodsk Youth Center and the Husky Nursery “Karjala park” will organise a holiday for Petrozavodsk.
On December 31, 2014, the City Court of Petrozavodsk confirmed that the approval of the heat supply scheme of Petrozavodsk till 2029 drawn up by Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnic University and the granting of the Single Heat Supplier status to TGC-1 had been done in line with all the applicable procedures.
On 16 December 2014, TGC-1’s specialists commissioned the hydro generating unit No.3 at the Hyameskoski HPP, the oldest HPP in Russia, equipped with original systems dating back to 1903. The vibration tests of the equipment have shown high quality of the overall repair which was completed on 12 December 2014.
