On 17th September 2014, TGC-1’s power engineers and Elena Chekmasova, Landscape Designer, held Plant Your Tree master class for volunteers and activists of the Karelian volunteer center at Kim Andreev’s Republic Children Environmental and Biological Center.

The Apatitskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1 - the sole supplier of heat in Apatity and Kirovsk of the Murmansk Oblast - has switched to winter operating mode.

On September 10, 2014 in accordance with the resolution of the administration of Murmansk the Murmanskaya CHPP - the largest enterprise in the heating system of the city - has begun the heating season.

On September 9, 2014 eighth-grade students of the Lyceum No. 470 of the Kalininskiy district of St. Petersburg visited the Volhovskaya HPP as part of educational project Energy Hour.

In St. Petersburg summed up the competitions of operational staff of hydroelectric stations which were held in the TGC-1’s Training Center.

On 5th September, a cleanup day was held at the Apatitskaya CHPP of TGC-1. It was devoted to the All-Russian Environmental Event – Green Russia. Power engineers began planting a new alley of trees within the territory of the CHPP.

From September 1, 2014, the Tulomskiye HPP Cascade and the Serebryanskiye HPP Cascade were merged into one subdivision of JSC TGC-1, namely, the Tulomskiye and Serebryanskiye HPP Cascade.

On September 2, 2014, the competition of the operational staff of JSC TGC-1 hydroelectric power plants started at the premises of the Central CHPP in St. Petersburg.

On the 30th of August 2014, on the Al—Russia Ecological Cleanup Day JSC TGC-1 employees and social workers from Clean Petrozavodsk organization joined to participate in cleanup on the flood plain of Neglinka river near Oktyabrsky prospect. Similar cleanups were organized that day by the environmental activists at Drevlyanka and Golikovka.

On August 30, 2014 at power plant No. 2 of the Centralnaya CHPP JSC TGC-1 as part of the All-Russian Ecological Community Cleanup Day events were held on environmental literacy of schoolchildren and young people of Saint Petersburg.
