In July 2016 over 3.5 thousand residents of Vasilyevsky Island have voted for direct payment and now will receive separate heating bills. JSC TGC-1 will be stated as recipient of funds in the bills.

The Head Office of the PJSC Gazprom hosted the winners award ceremony of VII Corporate competition among PR services of subsidiaries and entities of the Company in 2015.

Qualification competition among professionals of JSC TGC-1 CHPPs culminated in St. Petersburg. The first place and the highest scores were given to the power engineers of Petrozavodskaya CHPP.

The Annual General Shareholders' Meeting of JSC TGC-1 took place on June 20, 2016. Shareholders approved the Company's Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2015, including the Company's P&L Statements and profit distribution for 2015.

Professional competition among the employees of JSC TGC-1 HPPs are held in St. Petersburg from June 20 through June 24, 2016. Nine teams from St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Republic of Karelia, Leningrad and Murmansk Regions take part in the competition.

On June 7, 2016, the fish ladder aimed at facilitating season salmon migration to spawn was opened at at Nezhnetulomskaya HPP of JSC TGC-1

Upon results of 2015 JSC TGC-1 topped the rating titled "Generating Companies: Investment Programs Implementation under Capacity Delivery Agreements", published by NP Market Council.

On May 30, 2016 Apatitskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1 is the only enterprise for heat supply of the cities Apatity and Kirovsk, completed the heating season.

On May 26, 2016 according to the directive of the Murmansk Administration PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP — the city's largest heat supply plant of the city switched to summer operating mode.

On May 25, 2016 it has been 60 years since Rayakoski HPP of JSC TGC-1 was launched into operation. The hydroelectric power plant located in the settlement with the same name is in the most northern part of the world where the borders of three countries Russia, Finland and Norway, intercross.
