The main equipment and automated systems of the new turbine worked in normal mode of operation for 72 hours during the test. Currently, the hydroelectric unit provides its power to the unified energy system of the North-West, and permission was received for start of operation.

In the course of the repair program of TGC-1, repair works of hydroelectric technical equipment were completed on three hydroelectric plants of the Polar Region.

As part of the repair program of JSC TGC-1 and preparation of power plants for the heating season of 2012-2013, repair works of main and supporting equipment on JSC TGC-1 Vasileostrovskaya and Avtovskaya CHPPs were completed.

During the 2011-2012 heating season, an important step was made at Apatity to enhance the transparency of calculations – 90% of house management companies and homeowners' associations switched to direct payments.

On June 21, 2012, TGC-1 set an interest rate of 7.6 % per annum, or 37 rubles 90 kopecks per bond, on its series 03 bonds.

On June 18, 2012, TGC-1 held its Annual General Meeting of shareholders. The shareholders approved the Company’s annual report, financial statements, including the Company’s profit and loss statement, and the distribution of profit for the year 2011.
