On March 29, 2016, JSC TGC-1 Narvskaya HPP hosted comprehensive flood response and recovery exercises. Hydroelectric plant's operating personnel, including divers, Leningrad Oblast EMERCOM subdivision, administration of the municipal entity, and hydrologic forecast specialists of the St. Petersburg Centre for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring with Regional Functions took part in the exercises.

Overhaul of the hydroelectric unit No.2 was completed at JSC TGC-1 Nizhnetulomskaya HPP. During the overhaul, the main components of generator, kinematics of guide vane and service water system were renovated.

On March 15, 2016, within the framework of MIPIM International Trade Show in Cannes, St.Petersburg Government has presented the largest investment projects completed by TGC-1.

JSC TGC-1 releases audited consolidated Financial Statements for the 12 months period, ended December 31, 2015 prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

On March 12, 2016 in Rayakoski settlement of Murmansk Oblast, a cross-country ski track of the Barents region “Ski Track of Friendship” was held. As usually, JSC TGC-1 was among organizers of this international sport event.

On March 9, 2016, TGC-1 celebrates 60th Anniversary of the Vyg HPPs Cascade.
