Upgrade of Iovskaya HPP

Iovskaya HPP is a part of the Niva HPPs Cascade (Murmansk Oblast).

• Improvement of the reliability of the plant operation and consumers' power supply;
• Expanded operation range: new turbines allow to use from 30% to 100% of nominal capacity;
• Increase in energy conversion efficiency of hydroelectric generating units;
• Operational load regulation in consideration with the power system needs;
• Automated operation;
• Rational use of the water-storage basin at Iovskaya HPP;
