Increase in profit at the expense of the additional power sale, including export.
About the Cascade
The Vuoksa HPPs Cascade is the base power source of the Karelian Isthmus. It generates electricity for the transmission to the joint power system of the region and for the factoring of the daily power system load.
Upgrade Effects
- The Cascade capacity increased up to 240 MW;
- Improved efficiency and environmental impact of main and auxiliary equipment;
- Implemented modern automated station control systems.
